## Hva er K-Beauty?

K-Beauty står for Korean Beauty og er et samlebegrep for skjønnhet fra Sør-Korea. K-Beauty har tatt verden med storm, og Korea har på kort tid gått fra å være verdens ellevte største eksportland til å havne på 3. plass innen kategorien skjønnhetspleie. Produkter innen koreansk hudpleie har blitt hyllet for sitt rike innhold og nytenkning når det gjelder produktutvikling. Det pågår en intensiv satsing på forskning og utvikling i Korea for å tilfredsstille kundens krav og behov. Eksperter mener at teknikken deres er hele 30 år foran andre land.

## Prisgunstige og effektive produkter

Ettersom teknikken er så langt foran sin tid, resulterer det i at de ligger i forkant og har effektive produkter som sneglprodukter, sheet masks, fermenterte/gjærede hudpleieprodukter og produkter med mindre kjemisk innhold. Prisen skiller seg også ut innen K-Beauty, som oftest er betydelig lavere, ettersom koreanere mener at hver kvinne og mann skal ha råd til en hudpleierutine. Hudpleierutinen innen K-Beauty kan være hele 10 steg eller lengre, hvor serum, essence og sheet masks er selvsagte deler. Man trenger selvfølgelig ikke bruke alle stegene med en gang, men kan legge til produkter etter hvert. Det går også fint å blande K-Beauty med andre produkter man allerede har hjemme i baderomsskapet.
